Sylva, Marguerite - Signed Photograph as Carmen 1925

Belgian-born mezzo-soprano (1875-1957), with a long career in both opera, musical comedy, and operetta.

Signed photo, shown in the title role of Bizet's Carmen, her best known operatic role which she performed on over 300 occasions. Inscribed with very clear handwriting and signature, dated in 1925. Size is 8 x 10 inches, some wear on edges, otherwise in excellent condition.
