German baritone (1849-1903), who achieved great recognition for his Wagner roles in Berlin, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and the Bayreuth Festival.

Fine photo postcard shown in the title role of Heinrich Marschner's Hans Heiling, signed by him in Vienna, 1897.  Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, slight stain on the bottom right,  otherwise in very good condition.
